GOD SAVE THE QUEEN? SHE AIN'T NO HUMAN BE-IN...

A lame Australian t-shirt company called goatboy introduces themselves with this Lady Di design. There's also a video that's equally low-rent. All this coming a day after a jury finally ruled that Diana's driver and pursuing paparazzi were responsible for her death. Why am I posting this? Because NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS is still the greatest punk rock recording of all tiiiiiiiimmmmme... related: John Varvatos for Converse God Save Queens jacket. (image via)

Ouch, the truth hurts.
You're right about the Sex Pistols - they were life-altering, but I was always a Clash fan. While they didn't have the same adrenaline joy ride, their lyrics were quite a bit more coherent:
Elevator! Going up!
In the gleaming corridor of the 51st floor
The money can be made if you really want some more
Executive decision-a clinical precision
Jumping from the windows-filled with indecision
I get good advice from the advertising world
Treat me nice says the party girl
Koke adds life where there isn't any
So freeze, man, freeze
Yes, I was talking viscerally, not lyrically.
Hey, copyranter, maybe you would like to comment on this Absolute vodka ad...:http://refugioantiaereo.com/2008/04/absolute-vodka-y-su-anuncio-absolute-world-en-mexico
hey anon: here's my comment:
WHO CARES.
I still get a rush for that one and only Sex Pistols album. This was the real punk group and not the pasty Hot Topic / Urban outfitters wannabe suburban punkers getting their man-pussies pierced at claire's in the mall. today's punks aren't worthy of being spit on.
then again who the fuck cares.
hey anon: how can anybody posting on a blog that evaluates the quality of advertising (ie: will this properly promote consumerism or will it fail in such noble task) possibly comment on what 'real punk' is?
christalmighty.
I can do it because I hate myself and advertising and I've played drums since I was 6 which includes a 6-month stint in a not-so-great punk rock band (bad singer).
Bodies is the greatest abortion song ever, but I can't tell if it's pro or con.
But I do know that She was a Bloody Disgrace.
According to Rotten, Bodies is pro-choice, or pro-death, rather.
God shave the Queen - and her wanker son.
