PETA exploits the deaths of Jacqueline Fleming and her newborn son.

Fleming was the first European to die from the current Swine Flu outbreak. PETA, who last August amazingly attempted to bleed a bus beheading to promote vegetarianism, have apparently purposely erected this billboard (pic please) outside the Glasgow hospital where the pregnant Fleming was a patient, according to Brand Republic. The responsible assholes deserve to be beaten to death with gourds.

PETA are trying to save people and animals with their billboard, and yet they "deserve to be beaten"? Lovely...

not just to death, but with the vegetables that they sustain themselves on! What an idea! Why not just lash them with naugahyde whips too.

at some point science will learn that wheat, corn, soy and rice "feel pain" when they are cut off at the ankles by combines.

hopefully the discovery will so confound the PETA-philes that they either starve themselves to death or go broke by spending hours each day in therapy.

PETA seems to have a bad history of exploiting tragedies to support their cause. Seriously, I can't take them seriously - they're like a crusader order inspired by Jerry Springer.

People Eating Tasty Animals

PS: I often remind die-hard vegetarians with..."aren't we fortunate to have a choice"

Attack PETA all you want, but vegetarians are right. Yes, we are fortunate to have a choice...kill animals because you like the taste of burgers, or choose to not be so selfish and eat something else! It isn't rocket science.

And I'm not sure what the global famine link has to do with helping your argument. Check out the UN recommendation on going vegetarian or the great NY Times article "Rethinking the Meat Guzzler". Oh, how topical...the new documentary "Food Inc." is out right now! Why don't you pull that colon-cancer stick out of your mouth and educate yourself!

My OH My ..."why so much anger, methinks you should be adding a lot more fiber in your diet."

I have never set foot in any fast-food joint, my diet is purely Mediterranean, this classic BALANCED diet continues to keep me healthy, and very regular.

I wish this for all...BUT who am I to say or preach???

It's not rocket science as you put it NOR being clairvoyant to foresee that in some future doomsday scenario, when we'll be left with NO CHOICES, labels then wont matter, all will be democratically scavenging for rats, cats, dogs and roaches...OH! and let's NOT FORGET HORSES, like they did during the last World Wars.

Chew on that for now, you smug, self-righteous, and I'm guessing correctly 'anemic', protein deficient, wilting celery stick.

Nice defense 1:39! In the future we will need to eat horses! Zing!

See YOU struck ME as being self-righteous when you "reminded" us veggies that we were dumb not to eat tasty quoting a bumper sticker! Double zing!

Tell me, do you really think animals don't feel fear or pain? Do you care that millions of animals a day die because you choose a yummy meal over life? Just own it.

Also, I haven't had a bite of meat in 20 years and have no problem with protein or anemia, or any other of the things you try and use to justify the choices you make. Trust me, you won't wilt...just sleep a little better at night!

"Enough already....lighten're flogging a dead horse."

chacun à son goût

PS: Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?

A woman called her husband during the day and asked him to pick up some organic vegetables for that night’s dinner on his way home. The husband arrived at the store and began to search all over for organic vegetables before finally asking the produce guy where they were. The produce guy didn’t know what he was talking about, so the husband said: “These vegetables are for my wife. Have they been sprayed with poisonous chemicals?” To which the produce guy replied, “No, sir, you will have to do that yourself.”

Wow, your jokes are as bad as you lifestyle choices!

I assume since you have decided to ignore my questions / the facts and chosen to resort to jokes, that you admit I'm right!? It's ok, no one minds.

As a side note I think it is funny that you mock my "zing"s, as I was using them to mock your odd use of the P.S., the unnecessary quotes, and the seemingly random CAPITAL LETTERS. You should google "hierarchy of type" to help communicate your message. (This is an ad blog, right?)

I first came on board (12:20 pm) to contribute what I thought was some levity into this polarizing mix.

Stifle yourself...continue your sparring along with your type/style critique with the other contributors...the ones above, the ones threatening violence.

What is your hang-up of being 'right'????

Again, to each his/her own, be thankful that at this particular junction and place in history you have a 'choice', millions don't.

Finally, since when has the 'Advertising Industry' been the arbiter of good taste and its copywriters being custodians of high grammatical standards???
