The strangest...hair removal commercial ever produced.

Shaving—Sisyphean, amirite ladies? But uh, using carpet (teenage boy laugh) as the metaphor here is, uh, a bit heavy-handed (that's what she said!). Ad agency: Euro RSCG, Germany. Related: Six previous pussy hair removal/grooming ads.

A long walk for a ham sandwich.

What makes it bad:
- it's 90 seconds of ad for a 15-second idea
- everything is done slowly, heavily, and boringly
- the pointless psycho jump-cut at 0:28 just looks amateurish
- the end of the ad just loops to the beginning, when they could have, you know, done some acting or something. Even just having her stand there and look at the carpet in despair would have been better.
but mostly:
- The idea is first-thought, the end is predictable, the visual metaphor is obvious and immature. It's a polished turd.

They were going for drama. Hence, dramatically shot, edited, and psycho(ish).

Battle of shaving versus the ease of lasers.

A tad much, but nothing to write a dissertation on.

Per Urban Dictionary, hardwood floors mean a "clean shaved pussy".
In any event, this is a stupid ad. I've seen other similar ads out of Germany. This must be a cultural thing. Maybe the Germans appreciate this level of strangeness.
