Zut alors! The first ever print ad with a working airbag.

(click image) To promote the Peugeot 408's six airbags, São Paulo ad agency Loducca created this ridiculously expensive interactive ad and placed it in 50,000 copies of Brazilian business magazine Exame. Congratulations to the agency executives who convinced Peugeot to waste their money on this awards show bait. Video below. Previous interactive auto print ads:
• VW's edible road ad.
• BMW's new car smell ad.

after seeing the 'making of...' video, the creative side likes the ad. the environmental side of me says 'whatta waste of resources!'.

It's probably something that if I saw it in a magazine I would think is super fun. Wouldn't make me buy the car by a long shot though. Also would likely annoy the hell out of me when I couldn't close my magazine anymore without either taking apart the ad or tearing pages out.

I learned that 'air bag' in Portugeuse is 'air bag'.
