Fighting AIDS with a trouser snake and other dated euphemisms.
(click ad, via) Goodby Silverstein & Partners' first poster for French safe sex nonprofit AIDES was good. This new one is bad. Trouser Snake? Bearded Clam? Are you targeting Baby Boomers? Also, it should be funny, right? I think we need to give the account back to TBWA Paris, who produced these superb award-winning posters in 2008, and this superb graffiti penis video last year.

I don't think it's the baby boomers who are at risk of contracting HIV. So, that can't be the TA.
Well, those are some dated euphemisms.
You almost can't compare these to the French ones (which are wonderful) but I still got a mild kick out of these. Different style, more lowbrow concept but it could have been much worse.
"Even Carl Cock-a-doo......". I see what you did there.
Nothing good at all in this concept. Except fer the lesson that condoms increase your chances at anal sex. Sally the starfish indeed.
