New Domestic Violence ads: Man knocks out seven women with one punch.

(click ads, via)
So, a nice visual trick to dramatize the "cycle of violence" via AWARE (Association of Women for action and research) in Singapore. Again, the onus is put on the woman to take responsibility in an abuse PSA campaign (like with this recent pulled date rape campaign). When you fear for your life, "stopping the cycle" is easier said than done (I have some tragic experience with this situation in my extended family).

Not sure I agree with your criticism that this places responsibility on the woman alone.

It may not directly address abusers or victim's family/friends/neighbors but any of those people could be affected by the message & take action to "stop the cycle".

(1) Not a believable ad. Only Chuck Norris could throw a punch like that.

(2) But I could be wrong. Just in case, the lady on the far end should punch back.

In case you didn't notice. Each print ad features 1 woman progressing through her life. She never leaves him.
