Two ad agencies. Two identical Steve Jobs tribute ads.

(click ads, via and via)
Top: Via TagZag in Brazil.
Bottom: Via DDB in Dubai.
Who had the rather lame idea first?
FIGHT! FIIIIIGHT!
Update: Alex Bogusky did it too, but added a tear for the WIN!

It's not even a good ad. "Let's find some Apple related stuff with smiley faces and make them frown." "That's genius!"

Shut the fuck up, jealous failed creatives. The ads are good.

Apple should use this idea and turn everyone's Finder icon into a sad face with their next software update. That would be genius.

Steve would despair reading the idiotic comments on this blog. It's not a creativity competition, it's a small tribute isn't it? WTF? You ad people are nuts

Are y'all not aware that the "sad Mac" icon has been around for donkeys' years? The two agencies didn't have the same clever idea to turn the smile upside-down; they had the same idea of using a topically appropriate, actual icon in their memorial ads.
