I'd say... mmm, she's a lady in the streets and a pocket pickin' who-er in the bedroom.
The wife lifting cash out of her husband's wallet or pocket while he sleeps was a pretty staple cartoon cliche up into the '70s. See old issues of Playboy if you want to see many many many examples.
I agree with vikkitikkitavi. Plus the expression on the wife's not-very-attractive face fits that stereotypical nagging wife persona.
