Stumbled across your blog while doing some research for a school project (in advertising) and noticed the picture of the 'decorated' purple van...I was a little surprised to say the least because I have been in that very parking lot myself and seen that van in more or less the exact spot, it's a Wallmart adjacent to a Home Depot off St. Clair Avenue in Toronto (my home town)...odd coincidence...enjoyed your rants!
