Dashingly handsome metaphors used to sell Mitsubishi SUV.

(click ads, via) Unusual (at least for the automotive category) ads for the Mitsubishi Pajero Dakar (called the Montero in the US) sport utility vehicle. While I personally believe that if you are not an explorer/scientist and you drive an SUV, you should drive it off a cliff, I guess I don't hate these layouts; not showing the vehicle takes a client with balls. But, while I appreciate the concept of that typeface, you crazy art directors need to remember fucking READABILITY. Also, the combo outfits needed to be styled better to better convey the idea. Campaign by a Brazilian agency named Africa. Previous SUV ads: print ads for gas-guzzling Toyota 4Runner ironically printed on banana leaf.
