Maybe the best PETA ad ever?
(click ad, via) That's, granted, not saying much, but still. It's an old anti-rodeo ad, but new to me. It unfortunately continued the organization's ongoing execution style of sexually exploiting women—a style that has pissed off and put off countless females (and some males). Anyway, I've posted many of their idiotic, insensitive, sexist ads (round-up here), and this one—strictly from an ad classroom standpoint—is the best of the bunch.

But hey, let's not let animal accessories on a naked woman distract from the important message.
Well who would support PETA anyway once they found out this organisation is run by a woman, Neuberger, [yes, I know!] who previously euthanased dogs for a kill shelter - that a rescue centre that kills dogs they can't rehome as opposed to those that refuse ever to kill dogs. PETA collects animals in America under the guise of caring, and last year killed many more than they rehomed. The justification is that dogs should be free and wild and any kept by humans are therefore living unnatural lives and are better off dead. Neuberger is an obsessive dog killer. No wonder they have to use slick advertising to gain support. I doubt any of the 'celebrities' like Paul McCartney they suck into supporting them realise they kill dogs.
