While Ken's puns have been offending some of us writers for years, it's now time to be offended on a human level. Don't make light of being on the hot end of a Molotov Cocktail or the sharp end of a jagged piece of curb.
The second tweet is worse than the first. The first is just a lame gag. The second contains two outright lies and exacerbates the first by failing to apologise for it.
Some people think a justification will serve as an apology. It so won't.
If only you were endorsing his strategy, you could have used the headline 'Pyramid Selling'.
