This appears to be a problem in translation. Many languages don't have different words for "go" and "leave." It's further unlikely that they would have a socially constructed meaning of "Go!" to be that of positive encouragement...Watching the coverage of the Egyptian protests, I saw a lot of this sort of thing, ("Go Mubarak, Go!").... yeah, imadork.
