Come on, eBay is merely pointing out what everyone already knows -- how uncool it is to use pens. Pens are the harpsichord of the writing utensil world. It's been downhill ever since the Declaration of Independence. It would be great if the President would sign into law some new legislation banning pens. I wonder what the agency used to endorse their check.
oh no, how embarrassing for them
Kind of confirms that people are falling out of love with tech.
The only thing this does for me is incite my already burning hate for mac-zealots. They force their obnoxious shit down your goddamn throat. They are like the fanatic borderline retarded christians of the electronic world.
There, I said it.
P.S. And the ad is bad, yeah.
The Prez did sign one bill into law using his "electronic signature" while overseas. Does that count? And of course, the right wing said it didn't. I think Joyce Carol Oates uses an electronic writer that physically signs books remotely as well.
I hate that fucking commercial. Yes, please, I would love to spend $500 on a gadget for note taking so that I can replace my $1.99 pen and paper combo.
My blood pressure goes up every time I see this commercial.
spencer
pens will be banned right after the 100W light bulb ban goes in to effect.
I-)
p.s. it is a good ad - and it clearly makes the point that peer pressure, and making fun of those who are sub-peer, sells products. no more thinking for yourself.
@morning cigar: It's not Joyce Carol Oates, but her crazy-haired doppelganger Margaret Atwood, who uses the "Long Pen" (http://bit.ly/n4TYZq).
obviously you have no idea what reddit is.
Fuck Ebay! They just instituted a slew of new prices that will help out big stores while pinching small time sellers. Once my current load of old crap is sold off, I'm gone for good.
Oh yeah, that commercial sucks. The worst part is that even Ebay couldn't save that guy's dignity. So really, instead of just being an outcast, he's also out $500+. Thanks, Ebay!
I change channels every time this fucking commercial comes on. What possessed eBay to approve such an obnoxious ad???
