Cracker = Euphemism for white person

Cookie = Euphemism for black person...?

I can see the term's infiltration into popular culture now:

"What's up, my Cookie?"

Ain't nothin', you ol' cracker-ass Cracker. Sheet.

Sheet, indeed.

I'm in China, where they still sell Black Man toothpaste, and there is a competing brand from Taiwan called "Black Sister." There is also a brand of stationery called "Big Nose" that has a picture of a white man in the logo, though, so I guess it kind of balances out.

This is from Italy, though, as I remember. I found it on sale in a foreign food store:

Somewhere on Flickr there is a picture of an old brand of British throat lozenge called something like "Negritize." It was astonishing, and I wish I could point you toward it, but I don't have the URL.

Answer... 'Negro'; means black in 'old English... and hasn't any racial undertones

In Holland we have Negerzoenen (chocolate cream filled puffs) which means 'Nigger or Negro's kisses' in Dutch. I don't see anything wrong with it. it's what you're culturally used to. Americans are very touchy and try to be too PC when it comes to such things I find. I wouldn't want them to change the name to 'African's kisses'.

Hey Holland: Why not just call them "chocolate cream puffs"? Why the need to associate them with black people, at all?

Right. And let's change the pronunciation of
"nigger toes" to "Brazil nuts" while we're at it.

I don't give a shit what people are culturally used to or what they think is a PC assault on their rights... I wish people would stop using Black people as marketing ploys. It's fucking annoying.
