Lacoste: Official Sweater of Norwegian Mass Murderers.

(click photo) The French brand was not thrilled about this development. Up until now, they were merely the unofficial polo shirt of popped-collar douchebags. But then, handsome devil Anders Behring Breivik, denied permission to wear a combat uniform to his public appearances, demanded that he be allowed to wear a red Lacoste sweater. Lacoste has now quietly contacted the Norwegian authorities to request that they make Breivik please wear something else, according to adland. I love this story. Related: the most douche ever splattered on a polo shirt.

I recently read about the other label/wearer douchebaggery, Abercrombie and Fitch's bad, bad situation with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino of "Jersey Shore," his association with their brand and their going as far as to offer him and other cast members substantial payment for wearing alternate brands.

I'm thinking brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc. won't have any qualms in this "Daddy, what did you wear during the revolution" context.

Back to handsome devil ABB, judging by the Taiwanese animated avatar of Bock Mcmillan, the always stunningly handsome, mostly humble, often patient and sometimes friendly commenter of this blog, is it just me that thinks he's Anders Behring Breivik's doppelganger?

Swedish, Finnish, Norwegians, except for Bjork, they all look alike to me.

WTF -1-T-M the Taiwanese animated avatar of Bock McMillan..."?

Surely you have never seen me dance? ...and although we may seem to look alike, we sure as hell donĀ“t think alike!

But back on topic of this post, I would like to say that when I heard the story on the radio this morning I thought I would have to tip "copyranter" about it but he is faster than lightning...

Too bad I cannot see the photos at the inapcache.boston-link you suggest
