Today's ad where somebody dies.

Via India, I don't know the ad agency. If you do, please comment. Cute monster. But what does bottled water protect you from, exactly? Choking and dehydration, I guess. Read more about the spot here. You usually only see someone die in drunk driving or drug awareness spots. But here's another commercial, for a hair growing formula, where a man with a bad toupee falls to his death.

> what does bottled water protect
> you from

1. it makes the meal go down easier

2. offering a drink to a choking monster can save your life

3. those monsters are so cute - like nessie or mempre come alive? or beany and cecil? or gertie?

I-)

This new Stay Protected campaign, via Red Lion, India, a design agency, owned by Publicis, is an extension of their previous campaign, Play Safe (via D'Arcy Advertising, India)(link below).

Per Elsie Nanji, creative director at Red Lion, protection stands for "health, hygiene, quality and purity -- all the things one buys bottled water for."

Hygiene??

The bottle also magically triples in sizes when the monster is holding it then shrinks back down when given back.

Puff, the magic dragon
Lived by the sea
And frolicked in the Autumn mist
In a land called Honah-Lee
Little Jackie Paper
Loved that rascal Puff
And brought him strings and sealing wax
And other fancy stuff

Together they would travel
On a boat with billowed sail
Jackie kept a lookout perched
On Puff's gigantic tail

Noble kings and princes
Would bow whene'er they came
Pirate ships would lower their flags
When Puff called out his name

A dragon lives forever
But not so little girls and boys
Painted wings and giants' rings
Make way for other toys

One grey night it happened
Jackie Paper came no more
And Puff that mighty dragon
He ceased his fearless roar

His head was bent in sorrow
Green scales fell like rain
Puff no longer went to play
Along the cherry lane

Without his life-long friend
Puff could not be brave
So Puff that mighty dragon
Sadly slipped into his cave.

When travelling to India, visitors are always reminded to only drink bottled water. Tap water is not drinking water in India ( some exceptions may apply )

I was told to use bottled water also for brushing my teeth.
