This Guinness Halloween ad sucks.

Why is it in a field of pumpkins? Does Guinness taste like pumpkins? Not last time I checked. Did Guinness release a new pumpkin-flavored beer? No? How dare you sully the ad reputation of the best stout in the world with your no idea ad? Ad agency: The Marketing Store, Toronto. Previous good Guinness ads:
• the simplest beer ad ever.
• the smallest beer ad ever.

I agree there's no idea here. Still, I kinda like the ad. And when I say that, I mean the execution. The photoshop work is nice, and ad overall is very atmospheric.
This remains the best Halloween related ad for Guinness, IMO. It's actually an ambient stunt.

while i don't care for guiness all that much (i am more of a pilsner drinker) i don't mind that ad. sure it doesn't say anything, but its pretty to look at. whatever.
How does this stuff get made? As a student, if I presented this to my tutor, they'd say "but Guiness has nothing to do with Halloween".
So average.
Well, in the agency's defense, the client probably asked for a Halloween ad.
If it's a real ad.
If not, no excuse.
Could have at least featured an evil looking leprechaun.
Ads of the World gives retail agencies and hack Miami Ad School students an opportunity to display their work as if it deserves praise and awards. Nothing more.
Guinness may be the best stout in Ireland, but it doesn't travel well. Certainly not the best in the world.
That's true. Much better in a Dublin pub.
