In a Stephen Jay Gould talk I went to a long time ago, he pointed out that evolutionary illustrations always show people getting not just taller, but lighter in skin and hair coloring. His point being that there's an unconscious racist component to traditional representations of human evolution. This ad manages to be offensive in almost every possible way.
