Russian tourism video is a pleasant surprise.

It's a nice, simple to way show a lot of country quickly, and entertainingly. I watched it a second time, and liked it even more. The guy's a bit annoying to me, but then, as many of you know, most people are annoying to me.

NOTED BY THEIR ABSENCE @ 1:05 mark.
Standing in a Moscow Metro carriage for the first time, the young Gabonese man was thrown forward when the train started with a jolt and he grabbed a pole to keep his balance, brushing the Russian man's hand.
Without a word, the Russian withdrew his hand, produced a handkerchief and proceeded to wipe it demonstratively in front of the other passengers.

[M]ost people are annoying to me . . .
Same here. But over the years I've managed to work it down to two types: (1) those who won't give me what I want; and (2) those who want what I don't want to give.
"most people are annoying to me" - haha you kill me!
So they showed an ice hockey rink, and you peed a little with excitement in your Ralph Lauren briefs. ok.
I go commando. But, you're right about my feelings for Russian hockey. I was, maybe, the only person in America rooting for the Soviet team against the USA "Miracle on Ice" flash-in the-panners at Lake Placid.
Aren't these videos comprising of a series of short clips joined by a fairly broad theme getting a bit dull?
More depth please, Russian bathhouses for example have fascinating stories to tell, it isn't just getting slapped with a twig in a hot room.
This does not make me want to visit Russia, it just tells me somebody went around some famous sites with a camera, then added royalty free music.
He didn't touch some of the things.
