FDNY recruits ballers by letting them know there'll be plenty of time for balling.

Interesting choice of a visual, FDNY. You're obviously looking to increase the number of black City firefighters. OK. Good. You're also seemingly letting us know that you have to be in decent shape to fight fires. True enough. I know your physical testing is quite tough. But, uh, is this photo supposed to represent two fireman on duty or off? Cause if they're on duty, I'm a little concerned about this particular house's response time. Also, why place this ad in New York Press, which nobody reads?

ah, i miss nyc. last time i was their park slope was still around 1100 a month. but who knows? given my sterling rep/non-rep in the ad world, these days, firefighter might be a good gig for me.
i know clients that would have these guys munching on friend chicken and swiggin' 40s in the next ad... just so you could have a campaign, of course.
Join the FDNY. Pretty please. You won't have to grow up. You won't have to keep to a strict schedule. You won't have to quit wearing sneakers. Just go on being the slacker you are, LeRoi. Us honkies will go on cleaning up your mess. 'Kay?
easy, ricpic. let's back off on the racism.
did you know firefighters work only 83 days a year? fascinating.
They're on duty 24 hours straight, twice a week. That's a 48 hour week. Office folks work about that but get to go home every night.
