(
click ad, via) The brash Irish budget airline recently ran an ad attacking the on-time performance of their UK arch rival easyJet. The ad called easyJet's CEO
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou "Mr. Late Again," and called on him to stop hiding the truth about flight delays. Haji-Ioannou sued Ryanair for libel, and this ad, running in today's
Daily Telegraph and
Guardian laughably featuring a smiling Sir Stelios, was Ryanair's response. Note the last sentence. A fresh libel suit to come, I'm sure.
