(via MTLB) Can't get the girl? Just get all six numbers, lovelorn loser. Oh, you've got $100,000 in student loan debt? Yeah, well, she's grinding on some other guy's powerballs, so get a third job, and keep plucking down that dream dollar. Spot is for the California lottery, ad agency unknown. The two Chinese caption translations are: "Everyone has dreams," and the tagline, "Imagine what a dollar can do."

I prefer my lottery ads shitty. Here in Oregon, our state lottery ads are as slick as anything you'd see on national television, which is bad for a few reasons, but it makes me sick. I'd much rather have schlock like this.
HAHAHA god this commercial is so amazingly terrible. I wish there were an American version so more people had a look at how truly bad some commercials can be. And how they sometimes can reflect how bad a society can be.
