RE: 'Petra', the squatting, urinating policewoman sculpture in full riot gear.
To some it may be a piss poor, misguided exploration of a taboo zone, or a humane observation of society to others.
My take is that it's German sculptor Marcel Walldorf's tribute to Swiss engineer George de Mestral, the inventor of the hook-and-loop fabric we all know as VELCRO.
He's celebrating the expanding rip roaring benefits of 'adaptive clothing' rear-closure design, utilized mainly by people with physical disabilities, the elderly, and the infirm.
