Ad Nerds: Here's part of the Apple "1984" storyboard.

The woman's outfit changed a bit.
Here's the final spot.
Considered by many to be one of the greatest commercials ever. Considered by me to be a highly overrated and specious exploitation of one of the greatest novels ever. Previously:

Exactly how specious was the exploitation on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being super specious? lol

And just to remind everyone, the "1984" ad didn't run only once. It ran only once as a national buy, but ran many, many times as local spot buys. I've seen comments from others that the spot buys were in the top ten markets plus Boca Raton, due to an IBM office there that ran their PC business.
