Harvey Nichols "Walk of Shame" Holiday Commercial.
This is the polar opposite of John Lewis's heartwarming fantasy Christmas commercial. This is the real reason of the season for many adults: Bad, awkward, forced parties with friends and co-workers. Too much booze. Bad, awkward, forced sex. Best to be wearing a nice outfit for the shitty, freezing morning after, ladies. Or, you know, bring cab fare. The song is "Morning Has Broken". Ad agency: DDB London. Last year, Harvey Nics's holiday spot mocked Paris Hilton.

Who in their right mind would willingly share their walk of shame? Bollocks.
I like it. What's the one at the end saying to the postman, I wonder? "Eeeh, I had a proper 9 inches last night, I can barely walk straight! And me face were like a plasterer's radio." Something along those lines, I daresay.
Harvey Nichols doesn't sell coats? That seems to be the bigger problem... not wearing a coat in late December.
Clothes so bad nobody will want to fuck you?
Hey there, *Georgy girl
Walkin' down the street so shamelessly
Nobody you meet could ever see the loneliness there - inside you
Hey there, Georgy girl
Why do all the boys just pass you by?
Could it be you just don't try or is it the clothes you wear?
(with apologies to THE SEEKERS "Georgy Girl," words by Jim Dale and Music by Tom Springfield)
What the fuck happened to all these bloom-less English roses?
Over to you Axel!
While we are on the subject of Christmas shopping, may I suggest a cool stocking stuffer? This vintage pocket book for adults.

Oh, Vinnie, if only shame could really keep us warm...
