Homeless begging advertising in NYC is very competitive.

The first guy had a brilliant idea.
But then Frank Jenkinson (probably not his real name) did what all good copywriters and art directors do in a pinch: he stole it, and made it better. Or did he? The first execution is simpler, and it shows nice respect for the sidewalk space. Which do you think is better? They're probably both "art" projects.
Previous creative homeless man sign: "Parents eaten by pigeons."

It doesn't matter, both were wise NOT to include unnecessary apostrophes nor quotation marks.

Nice touch with the dashes -PLEASE HELP-

too long, and I hate this good bless shit.
if god would've exist and he/she/it is as powerful as you and your fairy tale books (bible, koran, kabla) imagine him/her/it to be, the world never would be such a mess...

C*ck sucker learn how to spell before you criticize.. Also, the second could prove to be more successful, it is more personable and informative

KILL_ALL_HUMANS if you were a little more smart and if in the world there were a little less guys of your kind, the world never would be such a mess...

Sam Gross did a cartoon of a begger with a sign: "Blind, and I think may be black."

I do NOT think the second is more succesful. They are not showing any trust in their audience. People like it when they "get it" and solve the insta puzzle an ad creates. With the first one you feel rewarded, like you were smart enough. The second one takes that away, TOO obvious. But what do I know, i'm a designer, not an ad agency.

If I were a begger I'd have a sign that said "If you give me money, then I won't die" but that'd be pretty much asking for it, now, wouldn't it?

Clearly some creative oversight is needed here. Take the copy from the first, and the visual from the second. Boom! Done.
