The two dumbest corporate Valentine's Day ads ever.
(click ads)
I looked through scores of painfully forced V-Day ads from the last 10 years or so. These two take the box of chocolates. Top: McDonald's, by TBWA Paris. (The #1 worst ever.) Bottom: Tampax by Leo Burnett Milan. (If you can figure out exactly what's going on in the layout, please let me know.)

Hey, at least I get the McDonald's ad. That Tampax one's got me baffled.
Same thing here :)
Re. the second ad: It's quite simple, I think.
He is asking mother nature to make sure that his date won't get her period until after he has boned her.
Not sure how Tampax will help him/her with that though as I'm not familiar their products.
If you can figure out exactly what's going [ON] in the layout, please let me know.
Note to the agency that did the ad: Paid for, not paid. How do I invoice you?
What's going on: This man is in the nicest sleezy motel ever. He is praying to his pagan god, which also happens to be the ceiling, that his sacrificial virgin will be in full flow so that he does not have to use protection.
"She got her period, now I can't bone her" was my first instinct, but the product doesn't actually address that.
You still can Chris. It's not battery acid.
Of course you /can/ bone her no matter if she has a period or not but I'm guessing that the ad assumes that a majority of people prefer not to have sex when she's having it.
Then again, there are more than one hole to use but I have no idea how raunchy Tampax usually is with their ads so I'm not taking those options into account here.
