Alzheimer's? F*cking Hilarious.

(click ad, via) "Rarely it's cute, most of the time it sucks?" You want to know what sucks, McCann Belgrade (the responsible ad agency)? Cute Alzheimer's disease ads. Even worse, are these "funny" French Alzheimer's ads. This is not a subject to try to win stupid ad awards with, creatives. You want to know how to do Alzheimer's awareness advertising? This is how you do it—show people how absolutely terrifying the disease is. Because it is. Idiots.

ranter I think you didn't understand it. the point is in first kiss - something all of us want to feel again. so concept here is obviously opposite than in 99% of alzheimer ads and is going from "is there something good about it?" and than says no, there isn't. (it sucks)

I understand the ad perfectly. It's making light of a horrible affliction. Maybe it's the translation, but "sucks" is a terribly inappropriate choice of a word.

Yours "This is how you do it" example has been done approximately billion times, and it never worked (apart from making you want to switch the TV channel instantly).

So says you, with zero examples/facts to back it up. A "billion" times? Why don't you be a little more idiotically hyperbolic.

I'll rather leave a "a little more idiotically" part to you, since you're very good at it.
