Like the rest of America, Gray's Papaya wants Michael Bloomberg to make up his f*cking mind already.

The Gray's Papaya on 6th Ave. & 8th st., where in the not too distant past you could get two hot dogs and a drink for under $2 (and where you can often see "celeb" chief Mario Batali stuffing his maw), likes "Shtickball" Mike. As the sign says, they'll even be offering up free hot dogs on inauguration day. Putting on my ad lawyer hat for a sec, I'd just like to point out that it doesn't say on "Bloomberg's inauguration day." Something to remember come next January.

Maybe it's just me, but nobody actually cares about a Bloomberg candidacy. What does another self-funded whackjob multimillionare (see Romney) bring to the race, other than splitting off the corporatist element of the GOP from the religious nutjobs (who will vote for Huckabee) and thereby shattering the GOP's already minimal chances? Hmm, when I put it like that, it sounds good. Sign me up for a Bloomberg independent run (but not actual election).

Man, martial law on election day looks likelier by the moment.

anon: I don't know. Some polls suggest Obama is big with registered Independents...so Bloomie might really hurt the Dems.

Not a good omen for Bloomberg ... Gray's had a Bill Bradley sign up in 2000.

Since all Presidents live and work in the White House, they all walk to work.
