The Green President.
(click image, designed by freemizzle. Shepard Fairey stop-order tk.) It may not be his fault, but it is his spill, his disaster, his nightmare. And you can be sure backroom Republicans are loudly chanting "gush baby gush" as they drink very dirty oily martinis. It's just absurdly ironic that Big Oil is tarring Obama's political career. Slamming bp's tone-deaf ads may feel good, but Beyond Petroleum will survive this, you can count on that, thanks to our unmitigated thirst for gas. O? I don't know.

Nice touch on the green links.
Sad that he accepted BP's donations.
As did Bush, etc.
Oh yes, but Bush is an oilman! We all know where he stands. We should expect more from Obama.
Really not that surprising since Obama was the largest recipient of BP dollars of ANY politician. Hope and Change!
Close to 1,000 candidates for federal office in all parties accepted cash from oil and gas lobbyists. Doesn't make it right, but still...
Obama received $77k from BP employees for his 2008 campaign. Meanwhile, John McCain received $2.4 million from the oil and gas industry in 2008 for his campaign. Same old, same old. Nevermind that Cheney is up to his ass in this with the secret meetings in 2001 and the Halliburton connection.
