The most epically insane weight loss commercial ever made.
It's from New Zealand, from about 10 years ago, by an agency named Meares Taine (seemingly now defunct, judging by my two-minute Google search). It's for Xenical, a prescription drug for considerably overweight people. It is quite a crazy, literary, borrowed interest, roundabout sexist sell. Jesus. Alerted to it by adme.ru. Previously in Insanity:
• The most insane beer commercial ever.
• The most insane light bulb commercial ever.
• The most insane deodorant commercial ever.
• The most insane credit card commercial ever.
• (nsfw) The most insane fruit juice commercial ever.
• And, (nsfw) is this the most insane TV commercial ever produced?

Um...wow. That was pretty neat until that last shot and the product reveal. It's a much cooler (but no less offensive) version of those commercials with the woman who says, "Once I lose weight I can go to Paris!" What- does Paris turn you away at customs if you're too big?
Wow, that's bizarre. It has some really striking scenes, and the mystery woman is gorgeous, but if I was overweight, I would just feel really fucking depressed after watching it. I mean, it indirectly implies that you can't know "true love" if you're fat, among other things.
Yeah, it is quite demeaning.
