There once was a young couple who lived in a shoe at the mall.
(click images, via) To promote that their shoes "are comfortable enough to live in" to Aussies, popular UK brand Clarks built two big fucking clodhoppers and installed them at the Parramatta Mall in New South Wales, Australia. The man and woman live in the shoes during mall visiting hours. For the next two weeks, they will cook, eat, read magazines, shit, nap, fuck, the whole works, it appears. I don't know if that last assessment is true or not. Previous Big Ambient Ad Stunts:
• Giant Fucking Cleaver Train Crossing Warning.
• Alfa Romeo in a shopping cart in a Belgian mall.
• huge McDonald's Shamrock Shake spilling into the Chicago River.
• 60-foot tall anti-drunk driving roadside bottle made from 80 wrecked cars.

I don't get "these shoes are comfy" from this installation -- I get "these shoes are fuckin' huge".

They better have Snoop Dogg on the Muzak - he had a REALLY big shoe.
