Russian Ad Watch: Bruce Willis still shilling for Commie bank.

(click ad) Headline translation, according to adme.ru: "I'm cool, Bank Trust – too!" John McClane helping Russians? In November, Willis looked much dieharder in his first ad for the bank. He's reportedly getting $1 million US annually for the no-work endorsement. Fucking traitor.

All in all this spells 'pederast'. As the word 'trust' is so totally foreign to the russian language, the combination of letters comprising the word pronounced 'trast' immediately rings the proverbial bell...

The line above tells us that BW is as 'cool' as the 'bank trust'. The word 'cool' is a neologism in the russian language, which still is harsh on many ears, partially so because it was previously only associated with 'hardboiled...'

'die hard' is translated into the russian language as something roughly along the lines of 'hard nut'(nut is not associated with loonies in the russian language, but rather with something hardboiled).

All this makes for a charmingly delightful ad. Wonder if BW was properly advised before appearing in this :)

the no-work endorsement makes for a very attractive annual package, though :)
