Al Pacino endorses his first product ever.

(via) "Most of my scripts have coffee stains on them." It's a spot—which started airing last night in Australia—for Vittoria Coffee. It was shot in NYC in May by Barry Levinson. Said Les Schirato, CEO of Vittoria Coffee, "The fact that Pacino is from an Italian migrant background - just like our family -makes him feel like a true ambassador for our brand." The copy is pretty pedestrian, and I fail to see why Levinson was needed to create this rote black & white footage. But at least Al's not making an ass of himself like George Clooney does in his French Nespresso coffee commercials. Previously in embarrassing overseas star product endorsements: Kevin SpaceyJude LawJackie Chan • And most embarrassingly, Quentin Tarantino.

REALLY???
Note to B. Levinson:
I saw only a dirty old man in an overcoat.
I doubt they're coffee stains.

"The fact that Pacino is from an Italian migrant background - just like our family - bla, bla.

...MIGRANT!!! you mean your families never settled down but constantly flew back and forth?
