Watching and listening to American Idol winner Hicks "sing" and "dance" (spot) in front of video images of various Ford vehicles makes me wish: 1. Hicks was never born. 2. I was never born. 3. Henry Ford was never born.previously:

man am i glad you posted this. I have so much contempt for his two bit white-soul voice, peppered hair and nausiating 'shirt untucked with blazer' style. Did anyone else fantasize about the Ford suv popping out of the screen behind him and running his ass over?
He's doing car ads already? Wow, he went to the bottom fast, didn't he?
No kidding CR. I walk away from the tv or change the channel the minute I hear him screaming er singing.
Ford ads are a contractual obligation of Idol contestants. The few times I saw the show there was always some stupid hastily produced ad (made that week) with the current crop of contestants.
Nothing says "soul" like shilling for Ford.
I was under the delusion that I just couldn't hate American Idol or its participants, hosts, judges, audience, advertisers, fox, tv any more strongly till I saw this piece of garbage. Suffering is a better way to put it then "watching and listening"
The tune is soooo catchy! I've been singing it all weekend.
He's pointing at himself as if to say, "Look at me, everyone! I'm terrible!
The whole campaign is ludicrous. Fords are bold? You bet. It's the mark of a true iconoclast to tool around in Crown Vic.
If that's their idea of bold, I guess it make sense to put Hicks in the ads.
HA! All you suckers who wasted your life watching that corprate, ratings driven puppet show. Enjoy your death trap ladies.

The way he pronounces "possibilites" as "possibiliDies" makes me want to kick him in the shin. It's only a matter of time before he ends up on the Fashion Rocks travesty.
