Srsly: who buys a car because of its headlights?

(click ad to enlarge chest) $69 down does it! England's ASA has banned this cleavage-y poster (posted in 20 high-traffic Northern Ireland locations) for the used car site UlsterTrader, deeming that it objectified women (NO). But in their ruling, the ad watchdog group noted that "although the poster was distasteful, it did not intentionally exclude women therefore on this basis it was unlikely to cause serious or widespread offence." So, gently banned? It's just the latest entry in copyranter's swelling archive (nsfw) of gratuitous (nsfw) employment of breasts in advertising.

That's a shame b/c the tasteful follow-up focused on the exhaust system.

I've seen the ads in NI. They're all about this good.

This is just lazy; it's not even clever "sex" imagery--just boobs and a juvenile joke. This is really the best they could do?
