PETA pees on the grave of John Lennon.
(click ad) It's a two-year-old ad that the militant human haters re-posted yesterday "in memory of John Lennon's death." How painfully, punfully touching. Imagine there's no Feldman. PETA used the same stupid pun in September to pee on the Qur'an-burning. update: His wife in the pic, Susie, left Corey last year and filed for divorce. So, extra special classy re-posting, PETA.

The extra-stupidity is that vegans definitely don't give peas a chance.
I am convinced that PETA must have absolutely no tracking at all regarding the success of their ad campaigns. They're all so awful in exactly the same way and there's no way the organization is being well served by them.
But do they really have no idea how terrible they are? It seems like if they did they'd have amputated that department 10 years ago.
I suppose it also begs the question - what kind of chance? If it's a chance to live then definitely Vegans don't do that. But I suspect the intended meaning is to give peas a chance to prove that they are delicious, nourishing and good for your body, instead of meat. Whatever it is, the bigger point is that the communications and intended meaning should be clear and readers should not have to guess what they are trying to say.
