Manhattan Mini-Storage's pathetic Michele Bachmann ad.

Much like the Puninator Kenneth Cole, MMS has chosen to go sociopolitical with many of their ads. Occasionally, they're creative. But most of the time the copy is a very forced fit, like with these Dick Cheney, Sarah Palin, and abortion ads. This is one of their newer posters, via Buzzfeed. Bachmann creeps me out as much as the next big city non-tea party patriot, but that doesn't mean it's a good ad. It's cheap. It's unfunny. And it doesn't sell Manhattan Mini-Storage.

Looks to me like Manhattan Mini Storage needs to work on the 't's in its logo. It's been 10 years, MMS.
Please child, it is funny—and true. I think your funny bone might be broken.
Looks like a fit to me. And oh so very true. SOmeone needs to lighten up.
No it isn't. Now, an MMS ad that somehow used this Bachmann photo:

and had a headline "something something doesn't fit something..."
...that might have potential.
Well, the ad makes me like MMS more, and therefore make me want to store my extra stuff in their overpriced closets. Also, it's funny.
well, it got our attention, so it's a win.
It's an image ad. Doesn't have to "sell" anything.
You need a "sense of humor" check, this is hilarious and a perfect jab.
Opinions are like assholes, and this asshole has taught ad courses at SVA and FIT.
Not funny.
From a former copywriter: It's funny... and appropriate.
Assole is right...A teabagging asshole. And I REALLY don't care about your credentials. I've been in marketing for 30 years....BFD!
Sure thing, old marketing (HAAAAAAAA) dipshit.
I love it! Now I'll find a way to use them. Oh, and truth in advertising bothers you?
No. Shitty borrowed interest no-concept ideas in advertising bother me.
I'm with copyranter. It's a mildly funny line, but doesn't have anything to do with storage. It just seems a little bitter and off-putting to me. But maybe this is a New York thing.
