New Got Milk? campaign is laughably sexist.

(click ads) Ho boy, are they asking for big bloody trouble. The new PMS-related campaign which kicked off yesterday makes women look like insane monsters and men look like ball-less pussies. As you can see, the ads are targeting us frightened males, sending us running scared to a micro site called Everything I Do Is Wrong.
Said Steve James, executive director of the California Milk Processor Board: "We think the humor creates the surprise and surprise is always good when you want people to be aware of the message and benefit. We have heard women respond to this with comments like, 'I have got to send this poster to my husband.'"
Yeah, you heard ONE woman say that, Steve. You should of done a little more focus-grouping. Fuck milk, amirite guys? Just pour her some vodka (Kidding. Sort of.) The ads are already getting shat on online, according to the Washington Post. Ad agency: Goodby Silverstein & Partners.
Note: for your viewing convenience, I've gathered 19 of the most sexist ad campaigns from recent years. Compare and contrast.

"You should have done..."

I'm not a native english speaker, and I'm amazed how many people still write it wrong.

Not changing that one. As I've said many many times, This is not a newspaper, it's an ad blog, and I write here like people talk, and that's how lots of people besides me say that phrase.

Doesn't make it right...

YES I AGREE THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT...

This reminds me of another annoying trend. People writing "to" when they mean "too". Example: I am going to the concert to.

It does not matter if this is a blog or a newspaper. Let's not butcher the English language. Teenagers are already doing that.

Actually, people say "should 'uv" which is the contraction "should've"

Which is still "should have"

So, if you're transcribing "what people say" then you need to realize that contractions are in play more often than not.

This is an AD blog, what do any of you think of the ADS? Jesus Christ.
(But also keep correcting my grammar, because I secretly appreciate it. I'd just also like to hear what you nimrods think of the ads that get posted.)

Wow. None of the comments had anything to do with the content of this post, did they?

I'm pretty angry about this ad campaign. Thank you for sharing this information.

What the fuck is a ball-less pussy? Doesn't pussy already imply that one has no "balls"? Ask yourself, CR, why people choose to comment on your writings. Maybe they find them funnier than the ads. Keep up the good job!

Not pussy, as in vagina, pussy as in cowardly males, like say, anonymous commenters.

@copyranter

That's what I meant, you nincompoop. Pussy as in a cowardly person. It already means someone who's got no "balls". If they did, they would not be called a pussy. Didn't I already say it?

Wait -- is it the bovine growth hormone, the GF-1 (good for prostates too!), the antibiotics, or the cholesterol that helps PMS? Hopefully the women who do the shopping (and make those honey-do lists)will get annoyed enough to learn they can get calcium & tryptophan from other sources. Incredibly stupid and insulting ads.

LOL to calling men "pussies" to indicate they are pathetic cowards while pointing out sexism in an ad. You do know why "pussy" is an insult, right? Hint: it's because women have them. Which makes it a pretty sexist insult to use on a man. Why not just say "YOU COWARDLY WOMAN" and be done with it?
PS I do not give a shit about your grammar.

But I didn't put it in a fucking national ad campaign, anonypussy.

You have some really hateful, horrible bullies commenting on your blog! Interesting post (with a delightful use of language) - the ads are so tediously old-fashioned, I don't think they'd make men laugh either. Adn hears' sum moor mistacks too irririt thoos mizrabel fckers.
