copyranter on ANIMAL NEW YORK: calling all women with PMS!
Today on Animal New York, I posted an ad for Panadol PMS relief tablets. It was created by an all-male creative team. Female readers, please go give your opinion of the billboard (link).

Nice! Women get more sensitive, yes, emotional, sure, cranky, it happens. But SWAT-team worthy? "Hmm... maybe I should pop a Midol cause I'm feeling TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL! Stop me now! Here I go with my bazooka again!"
You take that stuff for the pain, not the crankiness! Yes, we get periods and yes, we can get a little emotional. But it's natural, you morons! That's what our bodies are designed to do! We don't pop a pill cause we feel like crying over a McDonald's commercial.
I hate to get all feminazi-boner-killer, but my nickname at the office is "fun buster."
The all-male team is evident. Like anon before me said, we don't pop pills to level our mood swings, so this ad is totally, 100% off base. It's an ad for men, not women.
And seriously, I don't even get bitchy when I have PMS. But I get right fucking pissed when the male creative douches I work with try and run ads like this (and then predictably ask me if it's "that time of the month" when I tell them how unfunny they are.)
Fuck. That. Noise.
