His name is Torty! (I'm kidding, it's Winston.) And apparently, Womble Carlyle's mascot pre-dates all the other law firms' kooky animal friends, including Bingham McCutchen's Grizzly, Zuckerman Spaeder's bearded dragon, Dykema's giraffe, and Day Pitney's emu. Again, the Womble ads were done by that design firm I worked for. When I was cataloging photos from the bulldog shoots (clearly these are all photoshopped to bits), there was a whole sheet of transparencies with the lipstick ready to roll.
And yes, we did a TON of animal ads for the law firms. Zuckerman, Lyon & Lyon, you name it, we probably did it.
