Bad dye jobs are criminal.

(click ad) Well, well. An ad that gets the point across quickly and memorably. As much as I don't like not hating ads, I don't hate this Clairol ad, via Grey NYC. previously in ads I didn't hate: Old Spice, Scrabble, Snickers, Hemp store, Skittles, Holiday Inn, Vegas.com, American Psycho.

the ad does make a good point. At least its funny, which the category never is.

Eh. It's funny, but it seems like it serves the agency more than the client. I like the 'salon is not an option' tag but I'd rather see something having to do with being broke as the visual. I know there's a glut of recession ads right now but the rebel/criminal angle is really off brand. Bedhead I could buy it but not Clairol.
