Holiday Inn TV spots? Funny. Effective? Who knows.
If you haven't seen the new(ish) TV spots for Holiday Inn featuring the three traveling business guys, including the freakshow pictured at right (anybody know the actor's name?), I've collected three of them here for your enjoyment. Campaign via Fallon. Pillows is my favorite.
(update: Jerry Lambert is the actor. thanks anon.)
• "Take It On The Run."
• Humpback Whale.
• Pillows.
previously in stuff I like:
1. copyranter's pick for 2007 Emmy.
2. Snickers Halloween ad.
3. Iggy Pop for John Varvatos.
4. T-Mobile overcaffeinated cheerleader.

Freak's name is Jerry Lambert. He stole the show in short-lived Sons & Daughters TV series last year. And I beg to differ, but "Humpback Whale" is the best of the bunch.
Whatever happened to that show? I thought it was decent, though if we're going for quirky, off-beat family comedies with no laugh track I would have rather had Arrested Development back on air. I guess America isn't ready for either!
Isn't this the guy who was in the first round of Geico's gecko ads? (the one who said 'he raised the bar' or something like that')
I love "The office" its so funny!
oh wait this is a commercial from one of those super creative ad agencies.
I believe he was the spokesperson in numerous Geico commercials before the Caveman buzz.
Not sure if you've seen this one.. but it might be the best of the campaign. Bonus points for the unicycle reference.

How long did it take you to compile that list of "things you hate?" Did you walk around with a notepad? I know I do when I have to create an act for my standup comedy.
Well, at least you're honest!
Nice coming across your blog! Feel free to stop by mine. I would love to hear your opinion---on anything! You're probably really entertaining in real life. Have you ever considered getting up on stage?
Just enjoy them.
Humback Whale is great!
heh. They're pretty f-ing funny. That guy's voice pattern is really similar to Fred Willard's.
