The most senseless shoe commercial ever made.

I don't even.
Austria. 1970. Title: "Swimming Pool Filler." Thank you @adwatcher.
Previously: the most decadent cola commercial ever made (Germany 1969)

It's always a pleasure to correct you, Copyranter. The Grammar Cunt is fluent in German, and 5 other languages.

It is not the Swimming Pool Filter (?). It is the Swimming Pool Filler.

Mark, this spot is actually Austrian, not German. Humanic is an Austrian company.

The spot is by artist Roland Goeschl and director Axel Corti, both Austrian.

Rolan Goeschl, an installation artist, painter, and sculptor, created the styrofoam cubes you see in this and the other Humanic spots from the late 60's and the 70's.

The other spots are Kornfeld, Cornfield; Sprengung, Blowing-up; Albertina; Mölkerbastei; Umweltschutzmauer, Environmental Protection Wall; and Was geht, geht ... What Works, Works ...

Some are hard, if not impossible, to find online. There's one I have on my computer. I uploaded it on youtube for you and your readers to see. It's Mölkerbastei. It is not as bizarre as the Swimming Pool Filler one, but still.

These days Humanic spots are pretty sexual. The FootLocker "Orgasm" spot pales in comparison to this Humanic spot:
