Where to get your Bin Laden tattoo killed.

(click ad, via) No, this is not another case of Osama deathsploitation advertising—this ad for Precision Laser tattoo removal of Toronto was produced in March. But, ha, the laser sighting on OBL's forehead was quite prophetic—what did you know, Canada? I wonder if Navy Seal Team Six used guns with laser sightings on that mission? I also wonder who, besides a very drunk frat dude, would get a Bin Laden tattoo—and then want to get it removed?

Samsung i450 Music Phone empties heads of evil.

(click ads) Well, that's quite a product benefit—music goodness goes in ears, general badness exits head. But what if bin Laden is digging Death Metal? Or Bush keeps shuffling his Panzerfaust playlist? Among the acts in Bush's brain are Michael Jackson, Elvis, The Beatles, Dolly Parton (back, middle location), and Boy George (snicker, lower back). I don't recognize any of the talent in Osama's head, though the chesty belly dancer stands out. Campaign by the New Delhi office of ad agency Cheil Worldwide. (images via) Previous bin Laden in ads. Osama bin Laden's corpse stars in seatbelt PSA video.

(via) No further info is available as of press time, other than that this an amateur effort for no organization, and that I needed to see a lot more blood on that sheet. But seriously: expect an avalanche of Osama death-ploitation advertising over the next few months. Previously: First! Hell Pizza welcomes dead bin Laden.

TIME's dead Osama bin Laden cover takes over Times Square.

(click photo via John McNab) The window eyes add to the creepy deadness. Probably the first part of him the fish dined on. Here's the actual cover, issue out tomorrow. Related: the first bin laden Death exploitation ad?

the next Osama bin Laden deathsploitation ad.

(click ad, via) Well, this is the first serious one. Expresso is a weekly paper in Portugal. I'm assuming those are the actual birth years of all the people killed on 9/11. It's a good ad. Ad agency: MSTF Partners, Portugal. Previously:

Osama bin Laden, Capitalist Tool.

(click ads, via) Hey, Hitler is still moving product, so why not a living, breathing evil doer? Russian ad site adme.ru today posted a collection of recent ads that have exploited terrorist or terrorism imagery. I'd had seen most of them, but these examples of OsamaVertising deserved to be cobbled together. He can be used to sell anything, even Halls cough drops! And, no lawsuit worries. None of these are genius, but The headhunter and the Beta shipping ads are noteworthy.

New Hell Pizza Promo is Pure Fucking Evil.

(click)
I criticized some of the Kiwi pizza chain's promos/ads in the past (See: blood-filled syringe pens; Mis-fortune cookies; Dead bin Laden ad). But this, this is a truly terrible, yet perfectly branded, idea. I hope they have good lawyers. Thanks Jesse for the tip. Ad agency: Barnes, Catmur & Friends, Auckland.

The reason we haven't found Osama bin Laden yet is because of the soothing, cooling powers of Hall's cough drops.

(click ad for closer look)
Chinese advertising is a special brand of batshit bizarre. They're particularly fond of using military themes for anything and everything, like thermal-nuclear sperm rockets to sell Viagra. Here, in an ad that even our own lax FDA would maybe question, sucking on a Hall's has made the elusive evildoer invisible to infrared detection—that's quite a product benefit! (here's a second ad in the campaign) related: Ricola's ridiculous "mystery cougher" promo.

"Mis-fortune" cookies from Hell Pizza.

(click image, via) Hell of New Zealand likes to push buttons. Previously, they pushed the dead Osama bin Laden button and the blasphemy button in their ads. Now, they're pushing the pedestrian idea button with these branded un-fortune cookies. Some of the writing's not terrible, but the idea leaves a bland taste in my mouth. Ad agency: Barnes, Catmur & Friends, Auckland.

Hell Pizza gives away blood-filled Syringe Pens to kids.

(click)
New Zealand's Hell pizza has a well-earned reputation for creating controversial yet spiritless advertising (see the timely yet sleepy dead bin Laden ad) and the blasphemous yet stale pentagram bun promo).
Here Hell is (was) giving pens that looked like blood-filled syringes with the inscription: "Hell, creating addicts since 1996." (C'mon, everybody knows China White and pizza [well, any food] do not go together). The big controversy here is that the pens weren't supposed to be given out to children (teens were fine, I'm sure). But nine-year-old Joel Crampton of Wellington came home beaming with his promo paraphernalia. His parents were not beaming. Hell says they've stopped the promo.
Previously, Hell also gave away "Misfortune Cookies," including one that read "You will marry a transgender" (Bwa HaHaHa!)

Former president George W. Bush used to sell Jockey "no panty line" underwear in India.

(click ad, via) Follow the borrowed interest logic thread, if you can: First, the Iraqi shoe thrower (who has already been exploited to promote ebay in Belgium and sell laundry detergent in Colombia) is referenced, though this time there are several shoes, including a pump. Second, the Bush at the podium is apparently a stunt double, as the real W sits comfortably backstage, protected by his bodyguards, reading a (children's?) book. Now, the copy line: "No one needs to know"—about the faux Bush, and that you're wearing underwear. Brilliant sell. Agency: Mudra in Bangalore.
Previously W references in ads

• W appears alongside bin Laden in Samsung campaign.

It's time for an Osama bin Laden advertising round-up!

(click image) Now that the world's #1 terrorist is apparently dead (buried at sea, how convenient), it's time for a round-up of recent ads that used him as the creative linchpin. Last year, plastic statues of OBL were erected in New Delhi to help remind residents about the evil of plastic bags. Those are collectors items now! He's also been used to sell:
condoms.
Range Rovers.
Hall's cough drops.
• Samsung music phones.
• And HUMO, A Belgian satire magazine.
Guaranteed: a new rash of ads playing off his death.

Where is Gaddafi? Selling life insurance in Australia (print ad).

(click ad) Desperate Despot-vertising!
Previously, we've seen: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad selling yoga classes in Amsterdam; Osama bin Laden selling tattoo removal in Toronto; Stalin selling prostate exams in Singapore; And Hitler selling many, many things worldwide.
Here, McCann Erickson in Melbourne thinks both the slaughter of thousands of Libyans (Most of whom didn't have life insurance) and your inevitable death are worth a little chuckle. (I didn't chuckle. Maybe you did.) Yes, this is a real ad set to run in tomorrow's editions of The Australian, The Age and Sun Herald, according to Campaign Brief. FIRST!
