Worldwide Gratuitous Ad Ass Tour Lands In Central America.
(click ads for closer look)
The product: Ferrino sleeping bags. The sell: I guess you sleep so well in your Ferrino cocoon, you wake up feeling reborn as a butterfly? Maybe the copy magically ties it up—somebody translate it for me, I'm too lazy. Hey, at least I found some female and male ad ass for your hump day viewing. Previous stops on the worldwide gratuitous ad ass tour: France; Germany; England; and the USA (2, 3, 4). Also, not so gratuitous use of ass: Webcargo "save your ass" TV spot. (campaign by Ogilvy Guatemala, via) update: go to PollsBoutique to vote your opinion on Assvertising.

Copy says: Life is out there.
They become butterflies after a good night sleep as caterpillars.
That's a gloriously plump ass.
I think the idea is quite good, actually. Butterflies are adventurous, nature loving, near mythical creatures and when you sleep with Ferrino sleeping bags, you turn into one to enjoy life just like them.
On the dark side: you die 24 hours after using the product.
fedex: I think it's an OK concept, though still gratuitously assy.
mykonos: agreed.
Fedex, my exact thought was too bad the magical life you get to enjoy is gonna be so short lived.
Thanks, CR, for bringing so much joy to my less than magical days at work.
It says "Life is out there" (Google Translate). :)
So, the copy line's just a tagline. Thanks, both of youz.
Wonder if they had a cocoon stylist come in just for the shoot to fluff the bag?
See, here in the States you'd need a related product benefit if you're going to cast a Kate Winslett-style ass like that. (Fine looking woman. Don't get me wrong.)
The natural tagline would be something like:
"Fit for a Queen, as in Queen Latifah."
wasn't there a love your bum tv ad for loo roll?
i seem to remember something embarrassing to do with bums having emotional states or something.
Except those aren't butterfly wings. They are dragonfly wings, or some other cello-winged insect. I immediately thought mayfly (as in "Life's short").
I think I can see her pupa, if you know what I mean.
The Butt Fairies have come again to "bless" the sleeping bags of those camping in the the "enchanted" Butthaire Forest.
