The "GPH" Killer Strikes Again.
This is the logo for Ian Schrager's "reimagined" Gramercy Park Hotel—a "private clubhouse for the owners of the 23 residences of 50 Gramercy Park North." Your brilliance Ian? Or did you actually pay someone to come up with that thing? Either way, disco boy, the type looks like the signature of a late 19th century serial killer from a Caleb Carr novel. But it's actually apropos. Because your latest soulless hotel redesign killed one of the true cool bars in this city. Nice work, Shithead.

Private clubhouse, right. I have a feeling the guest list will be several pages long. Even without my name on it.
And the logo looks like a word verification grid from blogger.
This sould definitely be submitted to 'make the logo bigger's great meta-logo project!
Wow. That's ridiculous looking.
I think the logo is ugly.
That looks like my Grandmother's handwriting after she had a stroke.
It's new but in an old school way so yeah
what'd really be fabulous is if there was a private park for the residents of 50 gramercy park north. or like if there was an arts club or something. oh wait...
But it's got great rhythm when you say it!

It's a shame that Edward Gorey's dead. This logo needs a well-dressed skeleton with an umbrella, a few pudgy deranged looking children, and a circa-1923 flapper drinking wine while precariously balanced on the roof of an English estate.
I really liked Edward Gorey's stuff. He could have done a fine little logo for this hotel.
I'm just bent that he's messing with such a beautiful old hotel. Back in 1994 you could get a suite for $128 a night.
Now that Disco Pants classed it up and slapped his BRAND on it, I bet you can't even get a chamberpot for $128. Fucker.
That was a classy, quiet hotel bar. I'd probably be there right now if not for that eurotrash shitbag.
